Whats Happening at the Canoe Centre?
Bush Tucker Project
The Bush Tucker Trail Crew began work this week. We are very excited to have 8 people working for 5 hours / day for 10 weeks.
Crew: Amber Morris, Rory Clayson, Mitch Van Balen, Seth Meier, Lorraine Raithby, Ben Clayson, Raff Burgess, Tommy Wellhan and Jason Lockhart. Another local, artists Kim Healey ,will be working on artwork for the front of our office and cafe.
The bulk of the work will be clearing the trail sections and preparing the holes. Planting will take place late in September. We will be reaching out to community members who may wish to be involved in the next few weeks.
