Are you Pet Friendly?

YES! We welcome pets to our campground. Owners, please read our Pet Policy .

PET POLICY
Dogs are welcome in the campground. Please keep them on a leash whilst within the park boundaries and clean up after them.
Some dog friendly cabins are available.
No animal is to be left unattended and excessive barking will not be tolerated. Failure to follow these rules will result in your booking being cancelled immediately without refund and you will be asked to vacate the property.
If you wish to bring another type of pet, please call our office during office hours to discuss.
Dogs are not permitted on beds in cabins.
Registered Assistance Dogs are welcome in all spaces in our park.

The centre is owned and run by the Nymboida community as an Incorporated Association . We are a not for-profit business run by volunteers and a small paid staff. Our ABN is 6226 692 0327.

Our site is a bush campground which can present challenges to those with mobility and other sensory restrictions. We’re keen to help by providing accurate advice, so please contact us to discuss any special needs.

What’s the mobile phone reception like on site?

Mobile range is limited and intermittent at NC&C. There is good reception in Nymboida village 3km away and high speed wifi is available in the cafe and the tables on the verandah.

Drinking Water

All tap water at NC&C is filtered, potable water.

Do you have an RV dump point?

Sorry NO DUMP SITE. The closest one is Grafton, 35km away. Grey water must be collected in a receptacle and removed from the campground - campers may NOT discharge grey water onto the ground.

Are fires allowed?

Fires are allowed, depending on Fire Ban conditions, and must be kept within existing fire rings or a portable fire pit. Do not light new fires directly on the ground. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood. There is also firewood available for purchase an the Office.

Where can I buy supplies?

Nymboida Camping and Canoeing has a small corner store, selling basic supplies. Coutts Crossing has a pub and general store 18km away. The nearest shopping centre is in Grafton, 35km away.

Terms and Conditions
Nymboida Camping and Canoeing Inc. is a community owned and operated not for profit operation. Most of the workers you will see in the park office and cafe are volunteers. We welcome you to our beautiful facility.
EMERGENCIES:In the event of an emergency please call 000 Triple Zero. There is a public telephone situated at the park entrance and calls from this phone are free.
PAYMENT: The total amount of accommodation must be paid prior to or upon check-in. Payments can be made by our online portal, EFTPOS over the phone, or via direct deposit (BSB: 633 000 Acc: 202 218 608).
Check out is 10am - Please put your keys back in the slot next to the office door when departing early or hand back to Reception during office hours. Please speak to office staff if you need a late check out. Rooms must be left in a clean and tidy state, or an extra cleaning fee will apply. Rates are subject to change without notice.
LENGTH OF STAY:
Maximum length of stay is 28 days. Complementary housekeeping will take place after 14 days
Longer stays are at the discretion of the committee.
CHECK IN: Check In is 2pm If your ETA is after 4pm, we will leave an envelope with your name clipped to the office door. Inside the envelope will be your room key and a map of the park. If you have not made prior arrangements for after hours check in, a key will not be left for you.
Please call by 3:30pm on the day of arrival if you believe you will arrive after this time if you have not already notified us of a late arrival..
CHECK OUT is 10am - Cabins must be left in a clean and tidy state, or an extra cleaning fee will apply. Please put cabin keys in the slot next to the office door if departing early, or hand in at office hours if it is open. Please speak to office staff if you need a late check out.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: The office is not open on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. On these days only fully paid pre-booked cabins will receive the envelope with the key.
PREMATURE DEPARTURES: We do not provide refunds if you decide to cut short your stay.
DAMAGE OR MALFUNCTIONING FACILITIES: Please report any damages, cleanliness issues or faulty facilities to the office ASAP. (If immediate assistance is required please call the number on the office door if no staff is available)
KEYS: Guests are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of any accommodation keys. Please return all keys before departure. Failure to return the keys will result in a $50 charge. Guests requiring a key from Management after office hours will be charged a service fee of $50.00.
NOISE: Quiet time 10pm - 7am. If you need to leave early, please keep noise to a minimum.
CHILDREN: Parents and Guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and behaviour at all times.
SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited in ALL buildings, cabins and within 10 metres of any substantive structure. If smoking is detected, you will be charged a $50 Cleaning fee.
ALCOHOL: You are welcome to consume alcohol, but disorderly or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated. Local police will be called if necessary.
ILLEGAL DRUGS: If you are found to be using Illegal drugs you will be asked to vacate the property without refund.
OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOUR: Abusive behaviour to staff or other guests will result in your booking being cancelled immediately without refund and you will be asked to vacate the property.
PARK SAFETY: Speed Limit within the Park is 15 km/h; please do not take offence if we ask you to slow down.
CYCLISTS: Walking pace speed limit applies to bikes at all times. Small children on bicycles should be supervised by a parent or guardian. No bike riding after sunset.
CAMP KITCHENS: Please ensure that the camp kitchen is left in a neat and tidy manner and that all rubbish is put in the bin. All items in the fridge are to be labelled with your name and departure date. Any food left in fridges after that date will be disposed of.
CAMP FIRES are permitted in existing fire rings or fire pits. You are welcome to use your own fire pit if you have one. Firewood is for sale at the office, or you are welcome to bring your own.
VISITORS: All day visitors must report to reception before entering the park. Guests are reminded that they are responsible for their visitors. All day visitors must vacate the park by 10 pm.
LOST PROPERTY: Lost property will be kept for a maximum of 14 days.
LAUNDRY: Washing machines and dryers are located behind the main amenity block. Please do not erect clothes lines between sites, trees or verandas. Clothes lines can be a dangerous hazard for other guests moving around.
WATER: All water in the park is UV filtered and potable unless otherwise labelled.
WASTE WATER: We are in a catchment area and have a delicate creek-side ecosystem. Your grey water cannot run freely from your caravan. Please ensure you catch any waste water in a bucket. This can be emptied at the base of trees as far from the creek as practical.
We run septic systems for our waste water. Please do not flush nappies or sanitary products down the toilet. Our septic system treats the waste water, and this water is sprayed at three fenced off locations in the park. Please do not enter these areas which can be identified by rows of sprinklers.
We do not have an RV dump point in our park. Please do not empty in the amenities. The closest dump point is in Grafton Showgrounds.
GUEST NUMBERS: Only the nominated number of guests at time of booking are allowed to stay. The maximum number of persons permitted to occupy the booked premises will form part of the booking contract and will be nominated when you make your booking. Persons found occupying the premises over and above the number on the booking may give rise to an additional fee or early termination for breach.
