Hi, I am Mariana and I have been practising Remedial Massage Therapy for 16 years. I was always interested in healing and someone suggested I give remedial massage a go. They suggested that if I liked it, I could keep evolving with the modality. This is what I have been doing for many years now. I love the human body, and studied Anatomy and Physiology in depth at Monash University. I also studied Craniosacral therapy. This supports the release of connective tissue, switching the body from the Sympathetic Nervous System (when the body is stressed in flight or fight mode) to the Parasympathetic Nervous System (when the body is relaxed, digesting and healing). I use an array of modalities depending on the individual to help them become more grounded, balanced and centred thus reducing pain.

Hi,

I am Zia, your friendly local Osteopath.

I have a background in Remedial Massage and completed a Bachelor of Clinical

Science and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University. I have

been working as an Osteopath in the Clarence Valley for the last few years and

excited to be working at our fabulous Nymboida Healing Centre on Thursdays, by

appointment. I accept chronic care plans from GPs, DVA referrals, care plans

through aged care providers and offer rebates for people with private health

insurance and extras.

Osteopathy evidence-based manual therapy which uses broad range of techniques to

support your body to find and maintain optimal health. My treatments can include

massage, myofascial release, dry needling, cupping, osteopathy in the cranial field,

visceral manipulation (organ support), lymphatic drainage and joint manipulation.

Treatment is often paired with exercise prescription, lifestyle, and ergonomic advice

to help support changes made during treatment to have a lasting effect.

I can work with anyone from 0-100 years old and beyond, for a range of issues, from

chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, chronic lower back pain, postural strains

and migraines, to more acute conditions such as joint sprains and recent accidents. I am also happy to give wellness treatments to maintain good health. All welcome!
